Singapore Travelholic Website Revamp Proposal
Project Title: Singapore Travelholic Website Revamp Proposal
Our Task: To create a proposal of a blog that ...
- Is aesthetically pleasing, relevant and appealing to youths (age16 – 35).
- Reaches out to youths via social media and ignite active discussions of travel to Singapore
- Instill a sense of wanderlust into the hearts of youths to travel to and within Singapore with unique story angles.
Our Rationale: Through extensive research, we determine some of the paradigms and likings of youths, and realized that a typical youth could be summed up with three words – Young, Adventurous, and Curious.
With these discoveries, we built the pages of the blog around the trends that are very connected to the youth culture, such as ‘selfie’-taking, sightseeing, and the thrill of stepping into the unknown. This allowed us to craft a blog that is very relevant and speaks directly to the youth.
Team Members: Hazirah Saini, Sylvester Wong, Naziha Hairudin, Kwong Chang Wei, Aina Fitriah, Shahliza KShah, and Shermit Kaur.
Client: Travel Trade Gazette Asia
Responsibilities:
- Research
- Ideas Development
- Write Ups

Afterthoughts:
This was my first attempt at an industrial project – and needless to say, I found it both exciting and daunting. I had a lot of fun generating ideas and searching for relevant statistics to reinforce the proposal. It had been a tiring process, but I definitely learned a lot about teamwork, responsibility, and time management from this project.
